Anybody know where I can buy a lens shade for my "new" distagon 50mm T* lens? I'm told the original compendium bellows shade would be best, part 40231 and I think it needs an adapter for this lens (40344).

Hej Sally! The "Compendium" is just fine, while you're in the studio, but outdoors, it's just too cumbersome. I've had great success using the "Cokin" shade, especially with the 50mm Distagon, which I also have. With film, full frame, use the shade on the rear step. With a digital back, then it's just great at the normal position. Cokin make a lot of fun stuff, and very affordable.
